A plan is one thing.

Why we built it

Every team we had been on kept several copies of its plan. The sticky notes from the kickoff. The board the team worked from. The timeline somebody drew because a sponsor asked. The deck rebuilt the night before the review. Each copy was a translation, and translations drift. By the third week nobody was sure which one was true, and the person who owned the plan spent evenings reconciling.

Kyndium keeps one plan. The sticky note becomes the task. The task is the card, the row, the bar, the calendar entry and the cell, because there is only one of it. The milestone is the slide. Change it anywhere and it is changed everywhere, not synced.

What we believe

Whole, not synced

A synchronization layer is a promise to keep copies equal. We would rather not have copies. One record per task, under every view, is a structural fact in Kyndium, not a feature we maintain.

Depth belongs to everyone

Critical path, baselines, dependencies with lag, capacity by week, presentation timelines that export as real shapes. These were kept for enterprise tiers because they were hard to build, not because small teams do not need them. We built them once and put them on every plan that has the view.

Careful by design

The product should be quiet, forgiving and fast to learn. Deletes offer Undo instead of asking “Are you sure?”. Empty states teach. Motion answers a change and never plays on load. One click opens a task. The colors were tuned for readable text in light and dark, and the controls for fingers.

Yours

Your plan comes in from the tool you have, goes out in any format you need, and is never held hostage. Students and nonprofits get the whole product for free, because the plan should not be the thing they pay for.

How we work

Kyndium is a small team, designing and building the product in-house. We ship often and write down what shipped: the release notes list every change with the guide for it, the blog explains how things are made and why, and the help center is rewritten whenever the product changes. If something is unclear, that is a bug in the writing and we would like to hear about it.
