Installing Kyndium and reading it offline

Add Kyndium to your home screen or dock, and read the projects you have opened without a connection.

Installing

Kyndium runs as an app with its own icon and window. In Chrome, Edge or on Android, choose Install Kyndium on Home, or Install app in the menu at the top. On an iPhone or iPad, open Kyndium in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.

The installed app opens straight to Home. Press and hold its icon for shortcuts to My Tasks and New project.

  • Not ready to install? Close the card on Home with the ×; Install app stays in the menu.

Reading offline

Pages you open are kept on your device, so if you lose your connection you can still read them: Home, My Tasks, and the projects you have looked at, in Board, Checklist, Timeline, Calendar and Activity. The main project views are warmed in the background, so they open without a network even if you have not visited them on this device. A banner says when you are offline.

Changes need a connection, so anything you edit while offline will not save. A page you have never opened on this device shows a short note instead, with a button to try again.

Saved pages are removed when you sign out, so the next person to use this browser cannot read them.

On a phone

Everything works with touch. To drag a card, row or shape, press and hold for a moment first; a quick swipe scrolls. Small controls have finger-sized hit areas, text fields never make iOS zoom, and the task window fills the screen.
