Table and Spreadsheet

The project as an editable grid, and a full spreadsheet with formulas, pivots, charts and live cell locks.

Table: the project as a grid

Table on the project toolbar shows every task as a row: type, title, priority, lane, status, assignee, due date, start, end, progress, points and created, plus a column for each custom field. Click a cell to edit it in place; Tab moves right, Enter confirms and moves down, Escape cancels. Click a header to sort. It is the fastest way to change many fields at once.

  • Completed rows are dimmed; untick them to reopen.
  • Lane and status cells are drop-downs of the project's lanes and statuses.

Spreadsheet: a sheet of your own

Create → Spreadsheet opens a sheet that is not tied to tasks: tabs, 20 column types (text, number, currency, percent, date, date and time, duration, checkbox, drop-down, multi-select, person, link, rating, progress, auto-number, lookup, predecessor, created, modified, created by), formulas, named ranges, frozen rows and columns, conditional formats, saved views and a print mode. Standalone sheets live under Create and in the Spreadsheet module across projects.

Formulas, pivots and charts

Type = in a cell to start a formula; SUM, AVERAGE, IF, VLOOKUP and the rest work as in other spreadsheets, with named ranges from the side panel. A pivot tab summarizes another tab with six aggregations and grand totals. Chart adds a bar, line, area, pie or scatter chart from any columns, shown below the grid and editable from its card.

Import, export and working together

Import a CSV or Excel file through a three-step window with column matching; export the sheet as CSV, XLSX or TSV, or copy a range as TSV with ⌘C and paste it anywhere. Two people can edit a sheet at once: a cell someone is typing in shows a lock and their initials, comments attach to cells, and every cell keeps a history of changes.

Ask for a formula

When AI is configured, the AI button in the toolbar opens a bar: select a cell, describe the formula you want ("sum of the Revenue column where Status is Won"), and it is written for you to accept. See AI helpers.
