Kyndium adds live project views, Workload planning and imports from Trello, Asana and Jira
A release that makes every project view update live for everyone, shows who is over capacity week by week, and brings existing boards in with their structure intact.
Kyndium today shipped three capabilities aimed at teams moving a plan into one place: live project views, a Workload view, and imports from Trello, Asana and Jira.
Live views. A teammate's change to tasks, lanes, labels, dependencies or comments now shows within seconds in every view and in any open task window, without reloading. Updates wait while a person is dragging or typing, so nothing moves under their hands. Faces beside the Share button show who has the project open.
Workload. A new view lays out eight weeks across and people down the side, counting each person's open tasks or points against the weekly capacity they set. A task with dates counts in every week it touches, with points spread over its weekdays. Cells turn amber near capacity and red past it, and open to reassign a task or push it a week.
Imports. Trello board exports and Asana and Jira CSV files come over with lanes, sub-tasks, labels, dates, completion and dependencies. Assignees match by email to people already on the project. Any other spreadsheet maps its columns first. An import can add to an existing project without duplicating lanes, and undoes itself if anything fails.
The same release added Slack notifications posted by the database itself, keyboard shortcuts across the app, a project Activity feed, saving a project as a template, installing Kyndium as an app with offline reading, and a pass over every screen for phones.
All of it is available today in every Kyndium account. Release notes are at kyndium.com/resources/releases.
About Kyndium
Kyndium is a project management product built around one idea: a plan is one thing. The same task is the card on the board, the row in the checklist, the bar on the timeline and the milestone on the slide, so nothing is copied between tools and nothing drifts. Kyndium is free to start and free for students and registered nonprofits. Learn more at kyndium.com.
