Checklist: dragging, nesting and sub-tasks
Reorder by drag, hold to nest, promote a sub-task, move it under another task, and what happens to sub-tasks when you nest their parent.
Three drags
Reorder: drag a task up or down; an insertion line shows where it lands, and the sort switches to My order. Nest: drag a task over another and hold still for a moment; the target shows a ring, and when it turns solid, dropping makes the dragged task its sub-task. Move away before that to go back to reordering. Promote: while dragging a sub-task, a zone appears above the sub-task list; drop there to make it a main task again.
Without dragging
A sub-task's menu has Make it a main task and Move under, which lists the other main tasks. A main task's menu has Duplicate, which copies it with its sub-tasks. All of these keep the task's notes, dates, priority, assignee, labels and time.
Nesting a task that has sub-tasks
Kyndium keeps one level of sub-tasks. If you nest a task that has its own, Kyndium asks first, then moves the task and its sub-tasks under the new parent as siblings. Nothing is lost, only flattened.
